The following apps instantly deliver all reports to our LABB-Tulane Crisis Map where they are reviewed by our team of moderators, displayed on our map and delivered to communities and organizations actively responding to the gulf spill.
Android Apps
SpillMap (Recommended)
You can use the SpillMap App to monitor oil spill activity and incidents in real-time as reported by other users of the SpillMap App. All SpillMap reports are forwarded to the moderators on this LABB-Tulane OilSpill Crisis Map for review and action in the field.

Oil Spill Tracker App (Ushahidi)
This Android App is the the Ushahidi community's official open source Oil Spill Android App. It comes pre-configured to send reports and information to the LABB-Tulane Oil Spill Crisis Map. All reports from the app are faithfully delivered to our moderators, but there is a bug that prevents the app from showing recent reports on your phone. If someone would like to help get this bug fixed, plaese contact us!

iPhone Apps
MoGO is a free iPhone app that turns you and your iPhone into a citizen scientist helping wildlife experts find and rescue oiled birds, sea turtles, and dolphins. All reports submitted with the MoGO app will soon be forwarded to the LABB-Tulane OilSpill Crisis Map for review and action in the field.
